The power of place
The why
Human Nature needed a clear and credible way to introduce itself and the Phoenix project to investors and commercial partners. The organisation’s campaigning ethos — and its ambition to rethink development in the UK — required the creation of a coherent narrative that demonstrated purpose, deliverability and commercial realism.
The what
I developed an investor-facing introductory document setting out Human Nature’s principles, projects and impact metrics in an accessible, persuasive format. This formed part of a wider body of work I led for the organisation, including delivery and business plans, a manifesto on housebuilding, and numerous pitches and tender documents. My role was to conceptualise — in terms of structure and design — then edit, manage and deliver the document.
The impact
The work gave Human Nature a clear, coherent story to support ongoing investor and partner conversations. It created a set of reusable, adaptable materials that underpin future fundraising, outreach and positioning efforts.
